Dear Customers,

Last week we hosted for the first time WindEnergy Hamburg Digital. In cooperation with WindEurope we were able to successfully launch Wind TV Premium as well as the open stream TV. Visitors from 100 countries joined the discussions and talked about the current chances and challenges within the wind energy sector.

As you know, next to the conferences the exhibitor profiles were a key part of the digital platform to create a one of a kind marketplace. Our goals were ambitious. However, due to technical issues we did not succeed in generating online exhibitor profiles at a quality level that satisfied our own expectations and those of our customers.

In the light of this experience we had to make the tough decision not to offer the exhibitor profiles for SMM DIGITAL. We apologise wholeheartedly for this inconvenience.

This decision shall not affect our SMM stream which allows visitors to take part in top-class conferences. In cooperation with our renowned partners we created an exclusive conference programme which brings together all experts of the maritime industry. From 2 – 5 February we will highlight the central topics of the maritime sector.

Please save the date for the next SMM which will be held from 6 – 9. September 2022. We look forward to welcoming you again to Hamburg. Applications will be live within the first quarter of 2021.

We wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2021.

Best wishes

SMM conference stream
SMM’s high-profile conferences provide an ideal platform to exchange thoughts on the maritime industry’s pressing topics. Streaming live from the conferences, the SMM DIGITAL platform allows you to participate without leaving your (home) office.

At the Maritime Future Summit, thought leaders share their views on AI and its impact on the maritime industry. With IMO’s 2030 and 2050 climate ambitions calling for effective desulphurisation and decarbonisation strategies, the gmec – global maritime environmental congress highlights progress and challenges on the way towards zero emissions.

Offshore Dialogue provides the frame for discussing the sustainable exploitation of marine resources. And MS&D – the international conference on maritime security and defence will concentrate on the challenges of keeping pace with a wide range of operational requirements.

TradeWinds Digital Forum will take a close look at the changing face of shipping and focuses in particular on the financing, ownership and operation of ships in a free webinar.
